Wilderness Survival Skill basics
In one day, you can learn the basic skills needed to meet your basic human needs in remote wilderness settings. Learn and practice the skills that not only could save your life, but can be used in your daily routine; forage delicious and healthy foods, build and use functional tools, and create a relationship with the natural world.
Food, shelter, and water. We need these things to survive and fire is a great catalyst to obtaining them. We will head into the valleys of the blufflands and travel back in time to a place where people knew just as much about the flora and fauna around them as we know about the Kardashians and Bieber. Anyone can do this class. The pathways forged over thousands of years in our brains for these skills are still there. A little mentoring and time practicing in nature will rekindle the nature connection inside all of us. Like riding a bike. |
