Hide Tanning 101
Whether you're a hunter or not, leather and animal products have played an important role in your life and the history of the human species.
In this class we will take a raw product and, over the course of multiple days, turn it into a soft, water resistant material useful for many applications in your outdoor adventures. If you cannot make one or more of the classes but still want the experience of tanning a hide, contact us and we can try to work something out so you miss little or no info and experience. Plan for some physically strenuous activity as part of the hide tanning process. Bring your own hide or use one of ours! Location TBD. |
