no school day River Rats camp
Discarded as a dirty swamp rat, hunted and trapped for their fir, and mostly forgotten or unnoticed, the muskrat ekes out a living among the animals we regard as higher class; the bass, turtles, and eagles. Our aquatic rodent friends however are as resourceful and hardy as the farmers that live in the same Seven Rivers Region.
At this camp, kids will find their inner River Rat as they explore sloughs, swamps, backwaters and bogs. They'll find food, make shelter, and like the otter...play lots of River Rat games like river rock bocce, kub and more. Learning through play is an often forgotten yet profound way children and adults alike to gain knowledge, skills, and experiences. Kids in this camp will definitely learn about nature, themselves, and became more comfortable with being outside.
