Summer Camps

Calling Seekers Wild's summer programs "summer camps" doesn't accurately describe what your child will experience. Seekers Wild "summer camps" at their worst are a week filled with fun memorable experiences different from other camps. At their best, Seekers Wild camps create an adventure that will increase participants' confidence, competence in new skills, awareness, patience, knowledge and understanding of the natural world, and overall quality of life.
Basic Camp Schedule:
8:00 am-8:30 am Check-in. Includes programming and activities to prep the participants for the content of the day.
8:30 am-8:45 am Bathroom breaks, water bottle fills, and briefing of days activities.
8:45 am-4:00 pm Programming. This is when the skills are learned and the adventures are had. Includes transport to and from various natural spaces.
4:00 pm-4:30 pm Check-out. Includes debriefing activities including mapping, finishing projects from the day, journaling and more. PLEASE BE SURE TO BE ON TIME TO CHECK OUT YOUR CHILD/DEPENDENT

*Drop off, Pick up, and camp programming locations may change from week to week depending on the particular theme of camp for the week, however you will receive an email no later than a week previous to camp detailing the pick-up/drop-off site. That said, in most cases Drop off and Pick up location for:
-LaCrosse day camps will be at Wittenberg Park.
-Winona camps will be at the Jaycees Pavilion shelter
-Albert Lea camps will be at the Community Ed Boathouse

All registrants will receive a detailed email approximately one week prior to camp with schedule (depending on when you register),with info on what to bring, and detailed location information.
