Payment Policies
Below is a timeline of how you will interact with our payment policies during registration and your entire experience with Seekers Wild.

After you choose a class or camp and click the register button and you will be taken to active.com's website and be taken through the registration process. You will be required to create an account with them but no payment will be required at this time. If you choose to register offline contact us and we can make that happen.

Payment/Deposit
*Unfortunately the use of this registration requires a registration fee and a credit card processing fee. We always strive to keep our programs affordable and do not intend to have "hidden" fees. We apologize for this inconvenience and hope you enjoy your registration process. 
Now you have an account with active.com. You can use this account again and again to register for classes or camps in the future. In order to secure a space in camp, you will be required to pay a deposit of 50% of the total registration cost. Registrations will not be considered complete (space in camp/class reserved) until payment of deposit is received. If paying with a credit card, you can do this at the time of registration with active.com. If paying with cash or check, you can register online or offline and make your payment by mail. *Mailing Payments
If you register with active.com but want to mail your cash or check payment, we will save your spot in class for 5 days or the first day of class, whichever comes first. If payment is not received by then, the registration spot will become available on a first to pay deposit, first serve basis including people on the wait list. 

If mailing payments, remember that you do not have a space saved until we receive payment. If there is a conflict in timing of registration i.e. you mail your payment and spaces fill while it is in transit, your deposit and registration fee (if paid at time of registration) will most likely be refunded. In these situations we will do everything reasonably within our power to accommodate you and all other parties involved to come to a fair resolution. If paying with a check, also take into account time it may take for the check to clear the bank.

Payment
If you paid only a deposit at the time of registration, there are multiple ways to pay the remainder of your balance. 
  1. At time of registration, you can opt in for automatic billing. This is a service so that your remaining balance would be automatically billed from the Credit card you provide on a specified date. Double check that the billing date is before the first day of camp as your balance must be paid before the that date.
  2. Log into your active.com account and pay with Credit Card 
  3. Via mail with cash or check. Check and detailed
  4. in person on the morning of the first day of camp (before camp starts, please come early) with cash or credit card.

Refund
What are hearts and minds say about refunds:
  • We will treat the topic of refunds with common sense and compassion. We understand that schedules change, family happens, emergencies pop up and so on. Most of our days are spent outside in an ever changing and dynamic natural environment and so we get it. We do our best to take your situation into account and do what we see is fair and right for all parties involved. There are people involved and bilateral patience and compassion is appreciated. 

What our lawyers say about refunds:
  • All refunds are subject to the discretion of Seekers Wild and are not guaranteed. 
  • Seekers Wild reserves the right to accept or deny any and all requests for refund.
  • Seekers Wild maintains the right to issue refunds in whatever form we see prudent. Most refunds will be issued in the same manner as payment was made. 


If you must cancel your reservation, the situations in which most refund requests will be accepted are: 
  • Your cancellation and/or refund request is received within 14 days before the first day of class or camp. In this case we are most likely to consider a full refund.
  • Your cancellation and/or refund request is received within 7 days before the first day of class or camp. In this case we are most likely to consider a 50% refund or full cost of registration transferred to another camp or class.
