Covid - 19 effect on summer camp and upcoming programming.
Our general plan is to follow state and federal guidelines. We think it's important for kids to have the opportunity that nature exposure always offers but especially so in these times that can be confusing and scary for them. As always we intend to do our best to offer a safe outdoor experience with the goal of creating and maintaining communities with a high quality of life. Details below:

*Update based on most recent guidelines.
Planned safety precautions (to be revisited and altered over time according to recommendations):
  •  Limiting camp to *12 participants with 2 instructors.
  • Participants to wear masks during transport *(outdoor open check-in, check-out will not require masks).
  • Participants to use one set of gear/tools/equipment and not share items.
  • Participants will not share food.
  • Programming will not include activities and games that involve physical contact between participants or sharing of gear/equipment.
  • Also please take proper precaution to monitor the health and temperature of your child(ren) for signs of symptoms and keep your child(ren) home from camp if they show symptoms for covid-19.

Registration/cancellations:
  • We will revisit guidelines and assess which camps can go ahead on a week to week basis alerting registered participants of any cancellations two weeks prior to that camp.
  • Any cancelled camps will be refunded the cost of the camp. The registration and credit card processing fees are considered the cost of saving your place at camp and unfortunately we are unable to refund these.
  • With camp limited to *12 participants, don't be afraid to register for the waitlist in case of guidelines changing in the future and allowing for larger groups to be safe.
Due to the ongoing nature of all things covid-19, we will continue to follow state and federal guidelines and adapt as necessary. Feel free to contact me with concerns and considerations about this complex and ever evolving situation we are all in.
